A dream I had

I remember that last week I had one of the most bizzare dreams ever. First, I dream that I scored poorly on my Euclid math contest. I have done so bad to an extent that my friend who I know didn't try at all have beaten me. I was infuriated! Then, all of a sudden, I was on a train. A train that would almost crash on the the tail of another train. Then I realized later that this was a train that "wrapped" around the whole world. The train took me to the Mars and I met a new friend,she was an alien.We went to an ET restaurant,the food was weird,just some pills and orange liquid.Then we went to shopping,and I bought an iron skirt,which was same as my alien friend.And the most interesting thing is she told me that she knew my name before and every alien can look into the earth at home,she thought I am nice person,so she wanted to make friend with me.Astonished, I woke up. Feeling funny and scared, I went to the washroom and started my day.

Earthquake in my country

On May 12th , 2008, a worst earthquake in the past decades struck Sichuan Province, China. People suffered great loss in their lives and properties.
Most buildings were razed in worst-hit areas with so many people, including school students, buried underneath the ruins.  More than 90 thousand people dead, in addition to 10 thousand people disappeared in this earthquake.Roads and communication facilities have been completely destroyed ,thus cut off from outside. A large number of school buildings collapsed and only a few teachers and students escaped. What was worse, days of rain has held back relief efforts.
Fortunately, our government is taking effective measures to rescue those trapped and buried. Premier Wen Jiabao was quick to reach the scene and personally oversaw the relief work. "As long as there is even a little hope, we will redouble our efforts 100 times and will never relax our efforts,” he told crying locals. Troops and medical teams have been rushed to dig for survivors and treat the injured without a moment’s rest. The population in the surrounding countryside is helping donating food and water for those affected. Financial aid has been pouring in from all over China. Substantial donations from other countries and humanitarian organizations have also been offered.

Rain forest imagine

If I have to choose an animal which live in the rain forest to become, I will choose parrot.

Hi,I am a parrot,and I am glad to introduce my habitat and myself to you.The rainforest where I live in is humid and hot,there have very high percent of rainfall every years.Certainly,there are many different types of plants around my nest.I always eat seeds, fruit, nectar, pollen, buds, and sometimes arthropods and other animal prey.Besides,when I left my mom's nest,I started to make my own nest to keep cold and warm.If I face dangerous,such as predators,I usually use my beak to attact them and wave my wings to scare them.However,human being destory my home in the forest in case,I think I must move to the park in cities and eating stale bread that people discard.I will not be able to keep live in rain forest,because there are no trees,no food,just a barren emepty land.

Experience from 1733 to 1743

In 1733，I was a member of Vitus Bering's expedition group.We spended seven years to cross Siberia, during this process,we built ships to explore the Ob river in Yakutsk for four years and then,we moved on to Okhotsk on the eastern coast.Bering was not a experienced leader,so we met a lot of problems,like food shortage and strom made our two ships lost contact.Besides what is worse,when we went ashore in Alaska,beacuse of the lack of vitamin C,too many people were sick from scurvy,and many people died.Finally,on December 8,1741,Bering died,and this trip was really a breathtaking ecperience for me.

my introduction

Hi,my name is Lixiao,and you can call me Rachel also.I am from China.In my family,there only on child,so I do not have any brother or sister.In my free time,I like to listen to the music and sometimes I can singing,watching movies also one of my interesting.I went to ASU this January,the reason why I went to ASU is it has high quality education of my major accounting ,and I love sunshine.When I graduate from ASU,I plan to back to my country and get a job or do something I want.I think the most interesting characteristic I have is I am very friendly when I know someone,but the strangers maybe think I not easy to get alone with,because I don't like talk too much sometimes.
