Experience from 1733 to 1743
In 1733,I was a member of Vitus Bering's expedition group. We spended seven years to cross Siberia, during this process,we built ships to explore the Ob river in Yakutsk for four years and then,we moved on to Okhotsk on the eastern coast.Bering was not a experienced leader,so we met a lot of problems, like food shortage and strom made our two ships lost contact.Besides what is worse, when we went ashore in Alaska, beacuse of the lack of vitamin C,too many people were sick from scurvy, and many people died. Finally,on December 8,1741,Bering died, and this trip was really a breathtaking ecperience for me.
